We're getting very excited for tomorrow's event, and hope that you are too! Please review the following security measures that we have in place so that everyone can have a fun and safe time.

RHSA Grand Opening: Security Know Before You Go

The safety of our students, families, staff, partners, and guests is our top priority. Please review these important security guidelines before attending the RHSA Grand Opening on Thursday, August 20.

🔒 Security Screening

All guests will go through a security check upon arrival at the event. Please plan accordingly and allow extra time for the screening process.

🚫 What To Leave at Home

  • Guests may not bring weapons of any kind to the event.

  • No bags will be permitted on site, with the exception of a Ziploc bag containing items needed for medical needs or child care.

  • For guests using the event shuttle, baby carriers and strollers are also not permitted on the buses. Please plan accordingly.

📋 RPS Event Security Policy

All guests are required to follow Richmond Public Schools event security rules. Please review the full policy before attending.

Thank you for helping us keep the RHSA Grand Opening safe and welcoming for everyone. We look forward to celebrating with you!

 🍔 Food and Water

No food will be permitted on site, to ensure the building and grounds are ready for students on Monday. There will be a water station with bottled water for attendees.
