Mission

The Choral Sector of the Fine Arts Department at Richmond High School for the Arts is dedicated to cultivating a dynamic, inclusive, and inspiring environment where students can explore and develop their vocal talents. Through comprehensive musical education, creative expression, and performance opportunities, we empower students to become skilled, confident, and well-rounded artists. Our mission is to foster a deep appreciation for music, encourage collaboration, and build lifelong learners who understand the transformative power of choral artistry in both personal and community contexts.

Vision

Our vision is to become a nationally recognized choral program that celebrates diversity, nurtures creativity, and strives for artistic excellence. We envision a future where every student’s unique voice is uplifted, and the choral program serves as a beacon of innovation in vocal performance and music education. Through the integration of cutting-edge music technology, cross-disciplinary collaboration within the fine arts, and community engagement, we aim to inspire a new generation of artists who will contribute to the world of music with passion, leadership, and vision.
